The Kiwi Lifter Story

Becoming a paraplegic as a result of a work injury, and subsequently severely injuring both shoulders transferring to and from vehicles unaided, combined with my interest in driving and racing classic cars led me to develop the LOGO Lifter, an essential piece of equipment to live my life as near as I can to pre-injury days.

I use the LOGO Lifter Mk4 B daily to get about.

Not just to drive race cars. Road trips, shops, appointments, visiting friends, work.

Time for action 1

The LOGO Lifter shown in the raised position ready for you to transfer from your wheelchair to the LOGO Lifter seat.

The height can be adjusted to suit the cushion level of your wheelchair.

Simply slide the LOGO Lifter seat between the cushion and your leg and slide on over as you would with a transfer board. Set the wheelchair aside. The 12volt actuator (similar to a mini hydraulic ram) will lift or lower the LOGO seat to the height of your car seat for easy transfer.

We have models to suit most vehicles (see info bulletin in Downloads Section below).

If you aren't in a wheelchair but have difficulty getting into a car or getting out, the LOGO Lifter will help.
